If you have visited Paccar in the last couple of months, you will have seen some changes around the camp site.
After receiving £217,372 from HS2’s Community and Environment Fund Paccar was able to fund the build of its new climbing wall and caving complex which is soon to be completed.
As a centre, Paccar welcomes over 60,000 young people every year, and what we have managed to achieve here will create long lasting memories and leave a legacy to future generations.
John Arnold, Chairman, Paccar Scout Camp
“The camp site is entirely dependent on the generosity of outside bodies to fund capital improvement works and so the funding from HS2 allowed us to build a first-rate new replacement climbing wall which allows us to provide realistic climbing facilities for young people”
